Well one way might be to say something that I'm about to say...

I'm thinking of picking up a GC as soon as tomorrow.
A couple that haven't stopped breathing might now be thinking "why the change of heart ?"

The most obvious reason is that I have flu right now so chances are its the words of a sick bloke ranting.

The other is that I've been laying in bed thinking back to games I played such as Metroid and Zelda and how there are times I'd like to play them again (but of course in they're new forms). Afterall, at the end of the day I am a gamer, not a fanboy and I've grown up with Nintendo games.

I might also look into a Gameboy Advance SP towards the end of the month with some of the classic Snes games that are out or coming out.

If I get a GC, this is what I'm thinking of grabbing...
Black GC
Extra controller (black of course)
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Zero
Mario Sunshine
Advanced scart lead (for best pic and sound quality)

Then of course I'll pick up Metroid Prime and Zelda as they come out. Don't need a memory card as I have the one from when I had the GC before. Anyway, thats the current thing going through my head.
Blame my credit card taunting me while I'm ill for this happening.
Right, well I'm off to ponder more on this and decide on how I'm going to pay for it all if I decide to go shopping tomorrow.

Wait until Friday and get Super Monkey Ball 2 with it. It'll be great!

Or get TimeSplitters 2, or Super Smash Bros, or even FIFA 2003 - something that is fun in multiplayer - I personally would go for Super Monkey Ball 2 though.

But a good choice of games - Resi Zero is meant to be brilliant, and Mario Sunshine is amazing.

Nice one. :-)

Credit crd mate - I have a half decent cash flow so I'm guessing I'll stretch to grabbing the console plus maybe 2 or 3 games. Not gonna go too mad though. Gotta put a flight on the card for my gf/wife over the summer.

I'm looking to get a couple of games she can play too - Zelda looking to be one of them. I just read on SR about a bonus disk that comes with Zelda which contains the old Ocarina of Time game on it. Is it a new improved version ? Or just an exact replica (right down to the visuals) of the N64 version ?

Another thing I'm wondering is if the Gameboy Advance SP will connect to the GC like the old GB Advance ?
Just making sure that its different design won't stop me connecting it up for certain games.

Anyway, so far my GC game list will consist of...

Metroid Prime
Zelda
Resident Evil
Resident Evil 0
Mario Sunshine
Mario Kart
F-Zero

Thats about it so far. Gits should hurry up and get a Secret of Mana game released. Been waiting for that story to carry on since playing the game on the Snes.
Hmmmmmmmmm, wonder if the old Secret of Mana will arrive on Gameboy Advance...

How much cash do you have.........?

And WHAT is with PDO?

The demo was enough to convince me of its dullness.

I'll grab Panzer Dragoon Orta, Dead Or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball and Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. I'll probably also grab Steel Battalion. Might leave a few titles such as House of the Dead 3 and LOTR: Two Towers and stuff for another time or something. Bah, so hard to shift things around - especially when my brain is groggy with flu.

I always manage to sort it out though, I've yet to meet someone whose better than me at sorting stuff around to get what I want. ;-))

I expect it'll join the Player's Choice range (£19.99 or less) sooner or later.

Heh. Should've known :D.

With 60 X-Box games on your list, I think you can do without one or two :D.

I owned Rogue Leader before. Its a good game, just pretty flawed and could have been better. Might pick it up again if its cheap.
Won't bother picking up Jedi Knight 2 though. I'm gonna get Knights of the Old Republic and Galaxies on X-Box when they come out.

Really I'll be picking up the GC for the Resi series and the core Nintendo games. I remember seeing some good prices in Dixons, I'll look around.

Anyway, I'll work things out as I go along and decide what I wanna do. Might just pick up a GC with one game or not bother with a couple of X-Box games I was gonna get this month to keep the outgoings down a bit.

I don't think any of the Star Wars games are any good nowadays, they've gone done in quality as the graphics on them improve.
