Well one way might be to say something that I'm about to say...
I'm thinking of picking up a GC as soon as tomorrow.
A couple that haven't stopped breathing might now be thinking "why the change of heart ?"
The most obvious reason is that I have flu right now so chances are its the words of a sick bloke ranting.
The other is that I've been laying in bed thinking back to games I played such as Metroid and Zelda and how there are times I'd like to play them again (but of course in they're new forms). Afterall, at the end of the day I am a gamer, not a fanboy and I've grown up with Nintendo games.
I might also look into a Gameboy Advance SP towards the end of the month with some of the classic Snes games that are out or coming out.
If I get a GC, this is what I'm thinking of grabbing...
Black GC
Extra controller (black of course)
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Zero
Mario Sunshine
Advanced scart lead (for best pic and sound quality)
Then of course I'll pick up Metroid Prime and Zelda as they come out. Don't need a memory card as I have the one from when I had the GC before. Anyway, thats the current thing going through my head.
Blame my credit card taunting me while I'm ill for this happening.
Right, well I'm off to ponder more on this and decide on how I'm going to pay for it all if I decide to go shopping tomorrow.

Final Fantasy 7 was great! Maybe in some places it was overly emotional and talked too much sometimes, but on the whole it was a rather class affair- I'm still hoping for a sequel on GC or an improved graphics, longer(more stuff, and the supposed missed-out due to time restraints stuff) version.

If your TV supports RGB I'd get out the extra £10 or whatever and opt for the official RGB cable... that's meant to give the best possible connection/picture/sound. Get a subwoofer set like the Creative Labs one too, if you haven't already got one, and can afford it.

Well I got a little side tracked tonight on my Resi Evil game because I wanted to watch a thing on the History channel about Bravo Two Zero (for all those that don't know its a true story of an SAS team that were sent into Iraq during the Gulf war to deal with Scud missles).
Anyway, I'm in the store room of the mansion now. Hope it takes awhile before the zombies come back to life as crimson heads cause I've just found the fuel to set the bodies on fire (I've put a couple of zombies down). Just gotta find out where the lighter is or whatever it is to light the fuel.
Gotta go back and get the shotgun too as I didn't have any space to grab it when I found it a moment ago.
Having played the PS1 version, the experience kinda helps in some ways, but on the other hand it hasn't helped all that much. Rooms have been added that were not part of the game before and of course there are new zombie locations and stuff.
Haven't done too bad in conserving ammo so far - hopefully I can keep things going well. ;-)

After next friday i'll be playing only on Zelda, but I have no idea when I'll get to play it again until i've finished my import copy of Golden Sun 2 which should be arriving on the 14th of April at my Mum's work, so I have got plenty to play for the next month or so.
