Well one way might be to say something that I'm about to say...

I'm thinking of picking up a GC as soon as tomorrow.
A couple that haven't stopped breathing might now be thinking "why the change of heart ?"

The most obvious reason is that I have flu right now so chances are its the words of a sick bloke ranting.

The other is that I've been laying in bed thinking back to games I played such as Metroid and Zelda and how there are times I'd like to play them again (but of course in they're new forms). Afterall, at the end of the day I am a gamer, not a fanboy and I've grown up with Nintendo games.

I might also look into a Gameboy Advance SP towards the end of the month with some of the classic Snes games that are out or coming out.

If I get a GC, this is what I'm thinking of grabbing...
Black GC
Extra controller (black of course)
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Zero
Mario Sunshine
Advanced scart lead (for best pic and sound quality)

Then of course I'll pick up Metroid Prime and Zelda as they come out. Don't need a memory card as I have the one from when I had the GC before. Anyway, thats the current thing going through my head.
Blame my credit card taunting me while I'm ill for this happening.
Right, well I'm off to ponder more on this and decide on how I'm going to pay for it all if I decide to go shopping tomorrow.

So Sav you enjoying your GC? I havent played on Resident Evil 0 much as I got it last Friday and have been busy with Uni work. I have Metroid Prime on order and will be pre-ordering Zelda in the next day or two.

I've got broadband, but I've also got a crap comp with no speakers. ;-)) I'll have to take a look at it on my Dad's comp sometime. I basically had this crap thing put in my room so I could chat to my gf without my Dad moaning that I'm hogging the comp.
Hopefully I'll get round to getting a decent comp sometime.

So F-Zero should support 4 players ? Thats a bonus, but I'm still the type that prefers a 2 player full grand prix. ;-)
I also read that Rock n Roll Racing is coming to GBA Advance - Might have to look at getting that because it was an excellent game on the SNES.

You've got broadband so it won't take long. And it does support 4 player multi-player apparently...

From what I've read, Mute City still has its part in the new F-Zero game. ;-) Be rude not to though really wouldn't it. ;-)
I'm hoping that the track Big Blue will still be in too. From what I've read, the music is going to be a remix of the classic music - excellent. F-Zero just wouldn't be the same without that famous music track in it.

Was surprised that 4 players won't be supported, but then who cares - its much better to play 2 players in a full grand prix with no slow down than having 4 players against eachother with only the 4 of you on the track.

Ah yes, F-Zero. It looked nice and fast, and I was pretty impressed to see a sprawling city below the track (must have been Mute City...). It looked well detailed and still mantained a high speed.

He's praying for an 80+ car death race :D

Haven't downloaded any trailers. I've heard the Zelda bonus disk will also show trailers for F-Zero and 1080. So you know I'll be dribbling over F-Zero. ;-))

It's classic fast paced 2D scrolling beat 'em up action! With wicked 3D background type stuff. Have you downloaded the trailers for these games? They're on the Jap Zelda Bonus disc, so hopefully they'll be on the UK ones too, they look much better than the internet ones.


I've playing Harvest Moon on a SNES emulator since last Easter, can't wait to milk those cows in 3D!
