I'm not usually one to rub things in peoples faces.

In fact, I hate doing it.

But I could let this oppurtunity pass.

Top Score - A Nintendo franchise outsold the unbeatable Vice City

Yes, flame me all you will, but I'm retardant... Flame Retardant...

Totally unjust response yet AGAIN! What you write on the screen (name, tag line, posts, etc) is your responsibility. Even if someone else thinks it up - if it's submitted by you - then it's still your responsibility. Think before you type. If you don't want other people to make obvious conclusions about your text - then don't write it in the first place. Don't threaten me for reading your text (very peed off at this moment).

Well, it says here on the leaflet; "significantly unsignificant race".

Those damn communists must be at it again.

1) I'm not upset. The only thing I'm getting irritated about is you being completely incapable of sticking to an individual subject without diverging in order to find a strong point that you can pump in people's faces.

2) re-arrange the letters of my name, and see what you can come up with. And I swear by Christ the next poerson to unjustly infer that I am a racist will be dead by dawn.

What you're saying isn't the subject in hand, as I've pointed to previously, you're completely incapable of holding up an argument without changing it to be something that you can defend. The subject here is the record breaking pre-sales of Zelda, how it will perform from here on in is not only impossible to gauge, but also completely irrelevant to what is being talked about here.

I'm going to completely dismiss this entire paragraph because it is, AGAIN, moving away from the subject at hand because you can't find anything to combat the original point.

Grow up.

Well, I C IB is getting wound up again. To be honest, I can't see why this guy appears to have a problem. If he doesn't like TS, then IB doesnt have to respond. And if all of this forum upsets him, well he knows what he can do. The tag line under his name "An eastern inbred" is also suspect - a little dig at the eastern countries by any chance? Hope not.

Anyway, didn't I say that Zelda was doing well, but had doubts about how long it could keep going at that rate. Fair point I thought. What TS said months or weeks ago doesn't effect me or what I have just said (although it appears to effect IB).

So what if Nintendo do produce a "popular" game which sells quicker or more than GTA-VC. I could argue, that it's (along with the £99 GC price tag) too little to late. But I won't go that far (although TS might, but thats not down to me), yet. I also remember saying (a very long time ago) that GC might not fail, but continue in a similar way to the N64.

I agree and I hope Top score is reading this.
Despite Gamecube not selling as many units as the PS2 it can still compete in software sales when the right game comes along. Having been a PS2 owner for a while I have seen very few AAA titles come out compared to the Gamecube so there is no reason why the Gamecube should be disrespected in anyway.

Methinks Top Score is too humiliated to make an appearance anytime soon.

Since you're still missing the point, I'll spell it out for you:

Top Score, some months ago, created a topic haling the number of pre-orders for GTA:VC saying that the high figures obviously pointed to Sony's superior market position and going on to state (now listen to this bit) that the GameCube would NEVER be able to achieve such a record because it was crap.

Ignoring the fanboy "crap" statement, the facts have now proven him utterly wrong on his point that the Gamecube cannot perform in the market place. Zelda is more anticipated that GTA:VC ever was, and if you consider the difference in the size of the respective user bases, it's a tremendous feat and points directly to Nintendo's reputation as a maker of world class games.

Nobody is arguing that PS2 as a piece of hardware is more popular, so don't bother quoting stupid things like that when they aren't the point of the discussion.
