My second's in awesome but not in great
My third is in mother but not seen in dad
My fourth is in sunny but never in sad
My fifth is a vowel found in water not creek
My sixth is found only in one day of the week
My seventh's two of three that you learn when you're young
My eighth's not in song but it's there when it's sung
My ninth's in eleven and twelve, not thirteen
My tenth is in island and river, not stream
My eleventh's in precious and secret and paste
My twelfth is in phantom and spectre and haste
My whole stalks the night in a quiet dreamlike state
With no memories the next day of being out late
Why can't you work out the answer even if you knew what the number of the house was?

1, 1, and 36
or
1, 2, and 18
or
2, 2, and 9
or
1, 3 and 12
probably more
don't see how to do this

I'd love one of these things to be a simple as 'she had a sixth smartie in her hand'
Or
She gave four children a smartie each but gave the last child the tube with the 5th smartie still in it.
> Two of the children are a siamese twin?
No

Two of the children are a siamese twin?

I dunno, looks very suspect to me :(
A man in my neighbourhood has three daughters. One day when I asked their ages he said: "The product of their ages is 36".
When I still couldn't find their ages he said:
"Ok. I'll give you another clue: the sum of their ages is same as the number of my house".
I knew the number but still couldn't calculate their ages. So the man gave me a last hint, he said:
"My eldest daughter lives upstairs".
Finally I was able to find their ages. Can you?
