Yep. My clever brother swapped our GC for a PS2 for a bit. Just to play on Vice City. While I dtest and desipise that over rated rubbish, I gave some of the other games a go. Namely Red Faction II, Medal Of Honour Frontline, LOTR: Two Towers and GT3. Personaly, they all sucked.

I was just wondering (this is for serious PS2 owners, not a bunch of monkeys) - What has the PS2 got coming that SERIOUSLY can compete with futre GC/XBox releases.

PS - I'm not being fanboyish, I'm just wondering.

For me personally it has a lot of RPGs (especially the Final Fantasy Games 1,2 & 3-10 which the Cube doesn't have. It also has a fair bit of survival horror including the finiest in my opinon survival horror seris, Silent Hill.

I have a Cube as well as a PS2 and I find that the Cube caters to different gaming needs for me. Its a much more fun console with more colourfull games, more mutliplayer games and so on. It doesn't seem to have the same grittiness to most of its games as the PS2. Both are good in their own ways. At the moment I'm playing on the Cube more, but then I only got it a couple of weeks ago, so I would be.

How can a console suck when it's the games that are crap?

Well there would be no point in trying to convince you because the games I may think credit the PS2 may be different to what you think.
