My first was SNES, shortly after they came out, I'd played alot on NES bit bother bother to get one because I had a Commodore 64 with over 1000 games.

Then got GB, N64 and GC. All pretty soon after release, in fact the GB was trade only Preveiw before they were in the shops.

Not interested in GBA, don't like the screen, or the old games converted, (obviously they are some of the best games ever, but I've played them all to death years ago). I also can't stand THPS on the tiny screen, impossible to play properly, IMO).

All have had stunning games, MARIO 64 is all time favourite.

Very hard to pick a favourite console?

I personally love the Snes, indeed a golden era, old school playability with big advances in the possibilities / sophistication.

I remember playing SF2 for first time on SNES (after playing the Arcade), there had been never been anything on a home console / computer to compare up til that point. Good times.

I was playing a Friend's Donkey Kong Junior (G&W) for the first time, over Christmas, once you get the timing you can race through it, pure timing and knowing the movement patterns, not classic gaming, but still very good fun.

Come to think of it, I have one of them aswell and it was my first. You guide DK jr up to save someone in a cage from some big ape (DK?). You have to swing past all these obstacles.

My first was one of those little one game handhelds. My Dad bought one for me while we were on a ferry one time.

After that, I did the works.

NES
GB
SNES
N64
GameCube
GBA

I've also owned:

Atari 2600
Commodore 64
Atari Jaguar
PSOne
PC

My first Nintendo console was a Nintendo 64. During the days of the SNES I was still being faithful to my Master System, Amiga CD 32 and Amiga 600. But after I got my Nintendo 64 I went into overdrive and got the Gameboy Colour, Dreamcast, PS2, Gameboy Advance & GameCube.

My favourite has to be the GameCube. My collection is slowly becoming the ultimate collection of GC games. Wahoo!
