I was walking through town, I could afford it, a shop which I shall refrain from naming had some in stock at the stupidly cheap price, and nobody would have a go at me for buying one.
Then I realised I'd never play on it and that I didn't actually want one that much.

If you want a console you should get a GC because it offers the type of games a PC doesn't, whereas the PS2 and Xbox are similar to a PC in terms of games.

Emulated games just don't cut the proverbial mustard with me. I need the real thing. But it's easy to play all your favourite games, I suppose.
