What is it with all these "I'm leaving" and "Please stay!" topics?!?

I'm not just having a go at SCAMPS here, loads of these have been done in the past and they are starting to get on my nerves.

Do you just do it because you want to see how many people will beg you to stay?

Is it all part of some big Copularity Pontest?

If it is, then it's pathetic!

It's simple, if you're not enjoying the forums, leave. Don't worry about it. We all run dry of ideas sooner or later. Just take a couple of weeks off, leave the forums for a bit and then come back full of ideas.

Look at FM. He disappeared for a while, came back and won GAD twice in a couple of days.

You don't need to announce that you're leaving, and you don't have to stay gone if you do go. You CAN come back you know.

If you find you're not enjoying the place as much now as when you first got here, just quietly disappear for a little while, have fun over Christmas and New Year, then come back and see if you enjoy it again.

Last week was a bit busy. Should be back to speed this weekend and working early again next week, so more time online at home.....hopefully!

Ahh, cool. That reminds me actually, cos I've spent sooo much time away from the site I have forgot about your DVDs I promised you. I finally got Hannibal back so I'll send you them all in a nice parcel which should be there for XMas.

Where have ya been anyways? I've got some new forums on my site which you'll have to resign up to as the last ones just weren't good enough for me :) Also, our *little* Sunday morning chats have gone, you need to stop working so hard.

Also, who cares who posts what here? If you don't like it, don't read it! If people want to threaten to leave on a daily basis, let them! I only ask that they make it very obvious in the title that thats what the topic is about, then we can all ignore it. Problem solved.

That's it. I've had enough of all of this moaning topics. I'm leaving. I just can't take it anymore, all of this constant badgering has got to my head and as a direct result I'm afriad I'm just gonna have to leave.

I'm not doing this to get attention, nor to try and win GAD but mainly because I can't take all of these 'I've had enough' topics.

In my opinion, we seem to have too many topics complaining about these 'leaving' posts.....

somthin a bit off the topic, but...

What if someone off the forum dies? not wishing this upon anyone, but there is no way of us being able to tell what happened to this person.
