I'm really hoping the latest email problems are resolved before tomorrow 'Monday' morning! :¬(

"Further details of our upcoming premium e-mail service should also be made available within the coming weeks which, once launched, should help provide a more stable e-mail service for all Freeola e-mail subscribers."

This indicates payment ..... somewhere along the line....

Customers should notice no change in the way forwarded e-mails work, this is purely a change from this end in an effort to try to reduce some of the load the server is having to deal with.

Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to discuss pricing or offers for the new service at this time. However, this should all be confirmed, one way or the other, over the coming weeks.

Do the changes to 'forwarding' affect us customers?

'premium email service' - hopefully that will be a free(included) service for those that register domains with Freeola and the 'non-premium' service will be for those that make use of the free email addresses?

EDIT: Forgot to say 'thanks' for the update! :¬)

The intermittent connectivity on the server you were experiencing Sunday evening and parts of yesterday was caused by an abundance of messages sent through the server during a short period, unsurprisingly allowing the inevitable backlog to clear brought the server back to it's normal operating levels.

We have taken steps to help prevent this in the future by altering the way forwarding is handled by the MX servers.

Further details of our upcoming premium e-mail service should also be made available within the coming weeks which, once launched, should help provide a more stable e-mail service for all Freeola e-mail subscribers.

Thanks Warhunt, it would be appreciated.
Many of Freeola's customers are also passionate about support!

If Entanet are still managing the email service then they are normally pretty good at creating incident reports etc.

Notice the word attempt. I will give what info I can, if I can.

For all concerned WH, I personally think this would be an extremely valuable course of immediate action....even an 'attempt' would help to calm the 'simmering volcano of clients' patience' :¬)

Up to green now and marked as resolved, but no resolution details. I don't suppose anybody from Freeola is able to comment on here on the cause and resolution? Not sure this warrants a s upport ticket, but I might raise one for an explanation at least.

I see the Service Status page item has been amended from Major > Open (Red > Orange).

I'm pleased to report my emails seem to be arriving more normally :¬)
