All EPs contain the fixes from previous EPs. Thus why the files get bigger and bigger with each update.

I don't think so, because EP3 without data was like 14 MB and EP4 was only 13MB.

But it was even easier before Ep3 I remember. Ah, good times. I creamed Real Madrid with an under-21 side. I battered Valencia without any forwards. I won the Champions League 8 years running.
And I took Florentia Viola to 4th in Serie A. And they fired me because they expected first! So I'm glad the bugs have been taken care of but they really need to sort out the difficulty level.

You dont have to download all the updates. Just downloading EP4 will be the same as downloading EP 1/2/3.
No data just means it hasnt got a database update (players etc)

The game was too easy way before EP4 came along.
I've won games by huge margins with all the updates. I've posted most of the screen captures here.
Only call the game easy once you have taken a crap team from the conference to the top.

I'm new to Championship Manager 4, and have already downloaded Enhancement Pack 1. I proceeded to unzip it, then clicked the update button, then 'finish'. Is this correct?

No, but before EP4, I was only winning like 1-0, 2-0. 11-0 against Lazio is a bit much!
