so what do ppl think of gta3? i think it is an amazing game, and the graphics and playablilty and lastability r class. i recommend this game 2 ne1 with a ps2

Thanks Adrian, I have done that mission, the bloke with one arm....I tried to get in the tank before the cartel turned up but it was locked.

I'll try again this afternoon as I've got the day off. I think I'll give the army guys a miss :-) the police are bad enough!

In the 2nd island you do the misson for the one armed guy. When you complete the game you can get in to the tank there. Also when you have access to the 3rd island you can get 6 stars and have the military come after you. Then you can TRY to steal a tank. In the tank are 2 blokes with m16's.

Where's that located? I've now got access to all the islands but perhaps you only get it when you've done a certain mission?

Thats right, but its not a police badge, like you said, its a shield, like a bullet proof vest that puts an extra 100 points onto you and takes that down instead of your life.

Ok now I've got another question. As Wookiee pointed out the police bribes reduce your wanted level and you can't pick them up when your not wanted.

Wrong, I've managed to pick some up whilst wandering around and end up with a police badge and 100 points next to my health points. It appears in Gold and seems to be like extra protection? Any ideas?

Ah, now I get it....yeah I realised the bit at the top being your wanted level but had never noticed the reduction in level each time you picked one up.

You can use it if you really want too. Although I'm sure that if I did say no, you would probably use it anyway.
