It takes a elephant trainer 40 minutes to wash an elephant and it takes his assistant 2 hours to wash an elephant.
How long does it take them both to wash 3 elephants when they work togther ?

If you add the time they take to each wash an elephant the you get
2hrs 40mins.
Take the average, 1hr 20mins.
Multiply by 3.
Gives you 4hrs. Still don't think it's right though, but it can be seen as because they work to gether that the assistant slows down the other guy.

No sorry that not what i ment, how did you figure out that he stops for a coffee, it dont say anything about that, it says that they work together...
