So, I decided after looking at this thread, it needed editing.
Morrowind discussion, discuss about Morrowind.
Pretty straight forward really.
Tell us your Morrowind storys, cool stuff you've done ect.
Oh and I kind of found a place where these Telvanni people live and prosper. Ok this is how you get there.....
Go to Hla Oad.
Catch a boat to "Ebonheart"
Once your there, turn around and get back on the boat
Travel to "Sadrith Mora"
Turn around get back on the boat
Travel to "Tel Branoa" (its spelt something like that"
And then go in the town, and into the main tower, most of the people there are Telvanni (I think) you should find at least one bloke that'll let you join.
I think anyways, i'm not sure if you can even get into house Telvanni.
Hey, I completed "Big Helendes" missions for the theives guild, and she gave me the "ring of far reaching" its well good! It lets me steal things from far away.
How do you get to higher levels?
Maverick is at level 7, when i am clearly better than him.
Where's the best place to barter?
How do I improve my summoning skills? I'm always failing.
:P

Fantastic game.
A bit slow and daunting at the beginning, but the gameworld is vast, and there's literally hundreds and hundreds of quests and stuff to do.
Become an assassin, a vampire, an imperial solider, a thief, a hunter, the saviour of the world.
Fly, walk-on-water, summon demons - I could go on and on.

Assuming you are on XBox, there is no way you can get past this quest without further interaction with the lady who owes the dues - you missed a journal update. You'll have to go back and kill her, or talk to her more, or something.
Alternatively, if all you're worried about is progression in the mages guild, you may be okay. There are more missions available for each faction than you actually need to complete to reach the top rank, so you may be able to get away with just leaving this one out altogether. I suggest you visit the mages guilds elsewhere (sadrith mora and Ald-ruhn), and work on those missions instead. Once you've done all those, you'll either
a) Find out you don't need to go back
b) Be hard enough that it's no trouble anyway.
There are two tips I can give you to save a lot of trekking back and forth on missions like this.
Firstly, cast mark when you're given the mission. Use recall when you're done. That way you're only travelling one way - much faster.
Secondly, outside the temnple of Vivec there is the 'shrine to stop the moon'. If you make a pilgrimage there whilst you have a levitation potions (not home made) in your inventory, you'll get 100pts of levitation for an entire day. This is much faster than your top running speed, and also doesn't require that you follow paths - you can get anywhere on the map in a couple of mins.
Use these two, and travelling about in Morrowind is really no hassle at all...

Sadrith Mora, near the slave trader. Follow the path that leads off in that direction, and you'll come to a bridge which leads off to the Telvanni council houses. Go to the central chamber and have a chat with them...
