So, I decided after looking at this thread, it needed editing.
Morrowind discussion, discuss about Morrowind.
Pretty straight forward really.
Tell us your Morrowind storys, cool stuff you've done ect.
I'd play that.
> And whereabouts is that vampire cavern?
On first glance I thought that said 'vampire caravan'. That'd be much better. And they'd be called things like Leroy and Brandine.
And whereabouts is that vampire cavern?

Yeah. You need a soul gem with either a captured Golden Saint or an Ascended Sleeper.
I've just enchanted a belt with the Constant Effect "water breathing" - cost me 38,000 gold.
Constant Effect "water walking" boots would probably cost around the same price.
Of course you can Enchant your own items, but a very high Enchant level is needed. I'm not at that stage yet.
I remeber last year I tried to become a vampire, I spend about an hour reloading a fight with some vamps and letting myself take as many hits as possible, but I never contracted the disease :(
In my new game I've taken my usual thief character and added some magical abilities, namely the ability to enchant and alchemy, as well as conjuration and mysticism.
On that mage guild job with the fake soul gem, I swiped all of her proper soul gems, including the grand soul gem with Winged Twilight. I also bought a water walking spell which last 60 seconds, so I don't have any trouble with pesky slaughter fish.
Oh, and how do you create a permanent effect enchantment? I assume it needs some special soul gem yes? I tried to enchant my Dark Brotherhood boots to have permanent water walking, but the highest I could get was about 1500 seconds and an absurd charge cost :\
I've been back to the vampire cavern, stood there all vulnerable in my underpants, let them punch and attack me and nothing happened. So maybe you can't become infected twice.
And I've overwritten the save file so I can't go back....
All the same, I've heard it's impossible to catch it for a second time. Whether this refers to curing it before or after you 'turn', I don't remember.
Contracting a blight disease and curing it makes you inoculated against all blight diseases.
I've since read that you have to go back to one of three vampire clans and get officially recognized or something.
Oh well, I can get infected again....
