My question is:
What could possibly oppose God's will?
Nothing, because only one could possibly exist. If there is a unstoppable ball, then there cannot be anything that can stop it. Therefore, if the rock cannot be lifted, then God cannot lift it, which makes it impossible to create.
It's like God claiming he's made an indestructable pen, and then breaking it in front of our eyes.

Rubbish mate, omnipotent or not, you cannot be exempt from the laws of physics. Which, if you remember correctly, must have been made by God too..........
Ok, but remember god is supposedly able to do anything. He cant do both of the rock things - in HIS universe. hence my point.
The

Quite alot of the old testament, a bit of the new testament. Heard the new testament mostly at school as a kid.
Cmon, god may/may not exist but the bible is just silly. It says you can have jewish slaves! (the romans obviously put that one in)
god may be there but the book is silly. It says

It's been translated into different languages, so that

Any translator comes across words that have no equal in another language, so he has to bridge the gap, changing the word of the bible. I have studied french (c at gcse) and am doing a course in latin, so i know that this is true.
And god made us live short lives, and made us

What's mean??

My point was that god didnt make us speak diff. launguages, but the bible said he did. hence why the bible is a loada crock......

Yes but he is lower down than god, by quite alot. God created him, so his power should be far less than god's. My point was that is people actually read the bible, rather than taking all those already known christian 'facts' they would realise the bible is silly, and belief in god should be up to you - not a silly old book.
You know those cartoons where an angel sits on one shoulder, and a devil

Yeah but god could just zap satan with the lightning bolt he always has on TV. Hey didnt ZEUS have one of those things....i should get me one! :-)

What's mean?? A lot of people say that when they're near death, into their eighties or nineties that they're bored with life. What's wrong with us all speaking different languages? Perhaps there was only one language at first, and then we 'created' them. Who knows?

If you had read the Bible, you would know that Satan was a very high up Angel. You could say he was one of God's 'right-hand men.' But he became obsessed with power, and rebelled. He challenges us all everyday, while your conscience, God, tells you not to do it.

Alright push a rock in space then. Smart bottom.
Again, it's limited by physical parameters......

Being omnipotent doesn't necasserily mean that you have

Omipotence MEANS being able to to anything. Thats a dictionary definition.
Hence impotence meaning being able to do nothing....
lol.
Even if God was, the physical size of a rock has a limit. A

Being omnipotent doesn't necasserily mean that you have infinate ability. Who is to say that God could lift anything?? Who is to say God is confined by physical presence?? No one knows, so that point is invalid......
Even if God was, the physical size of a rock has a limit. A rock on earth would weigh a certain amount due to the gravity on earth, in space it would weigh nothing. These are physical parameters which we can understand and cohere too. God's strength and ability knows no bounds, but the physical size and weight of a rock does........
So the answer would be, God cannot create a rock which he couldn't lift, but he could create the universe and all the physical parameters which define what we class as weight........
Confused now?? Well, thats what you get for asking smart-ass questions :D
I'm just trying to explain to myself why God is almighty and the ultimate prescence, yet people fear the Devil's work, simply because of my original point:
What can possibly oppose god's will?
And I keep coming up with...well nothing can, for the simple fact he/she/it is god - you don't get any bigger or better, he's The Daddy and nothing can take him on or oppose him.
So that kind of makes the devil redundant?
