It's the best Multiplayer RTS game there ever was. Simple as that. Released way back in 1997.

I can't compare it to Age of Empires, Starcraft of anything, because it's fundamentally different.

You can all download it, and you can all run it. It's the perfect game for multiplayer FOG gaming.

I held out pretty well on my own actually. I held off the two guys attacking me, but didn't have enough to launch a decent counter attack. The server crashed out of the game then, and we all lost the connection, so I guess we can call it a draw.

So, Venom, myself and some anonamous guy who quitted when the enemy imobilised their priest, were taking a whupping when Netstorm commited an illeagal operation and closed on me.

Sorry you got left alone there Venom, not that it would've made a difference anyway, the way we were going. :-D

It's a great game, even if you're as crap as me (alhough I did manage to get the crossbow by trashing a Lvl 1 newbie ;-D).

So if I scrap by the weak spots twice there will be a breakthrough? Super.

In answer to Strafex:

You'll notice there are two small spots of the bridge which aren't white (and hence are destructable). Also, although you can't do a meltdown in singleplayer, salvaging units near the bridge will also do the trick. You have to salvage twice though to destroy the bridges, and the unit you salvage must be right next to the bridge for it to work.

Yeah, it is getting a bit difficult to stay afloat in here at the moment. Ah well.
