I can't compare it to Age of Empires, Starcraft of anything, because it's fundamentally different.

I've tried about 5 times, and tried my limited knowledge to try and make it work... it doesn't.

Ant, I know that RTS isn't your cup of tea (not really mine either), but it's still well worth a try.
It's a very cleverly designed game, the only flaw being that you can beat someone by simply building bridges around their Island, blocking them off completely...

Do you know what bothers me?
Every few months, a bunch of idiots will pop up and start raising a campaign to make themselves a notable. Do they deserve it?
Hell no.
Why? Because they don't concentrate on the most important factor of these forums, and that's community. Some of us actually want to increase the interaction of these forums, help us to know eachother better and have a crap load of fun on the way.
Being a Notable is not about writing wonderful topics and having strict views on stuff... it's about doing things for the forums, and making it a better place to be.
I'm voting for you, next time Venombyte. It's between you, Your Honour, and Strafex... but I think you just about push your way to the front with this.
To the rest of you, join in. These ARE gaming forums, you know. Why the hell are you here if you can't even be bothered to download a few meg so we can have a bit of fun together?
