Right many of us have had some problems and been stuck at certain points.
So instead of thinking for ages why not ask someone who knows. Sure beats reading through walkthroughs at gamefaqs and the such like.

Anyway its a class game, looks and plays well and it surprised me in a lot of places.

Ok, I'm at the place where you blow up the rock to let the spring fill the area.

I have thrown a bomb into the first statue but can't seem to reach the second one. I presume you just have to aim right but I'm struggling.
Anyone?

He's much better in MM.
Because he floated around on a big baloon.
I saved him from prison, he should be my little green gimp slave forever now.

Tingle deciphers your Triforce Maps, but it costs 398 rupees per map.

Yeah it's worth just chatting to the fish because they give you some damn helpful information on secrets and stuff.

It certainly helps when trying to find out where treasure is hidden from the maps you pick up along the game. It'll also be an interesting tool to have if you decide on doing a bit of exploring.

You can find it out by sneaking round the back of the bomb shop, climbing up the vines on the wall and going through the tunnel behind the box. I don't know if it differs from game to game, but for me it was 'Barnacle'.

When you start to get sucked into the tornado wind thing shot the wind god guy with your bow. Three hits should do it.

I've restored the sword and got the map but I need someone to read it. Who?

Also would it be worth getting info on every square in the map?

Right, I'm on a bit of a Wild Goose chase. I've got to get into these dungeon shrine things, yet I need fire arrows, ice arrows, and heavy boots. So I ask all the fish, and they take me to this Island. The only way i can get in the Island is by riding a Hurricane. But they always take me miles away. Help!

Heh sorry Asher D. What I meant was aim it so it's like half water on lava and half on the enemy. It's more than possible.

Trust me. I'm a schizophrenic..

Actually it could be one of several passwords, I even guessed mine correctly but he still won't let you in until after the cut scene.

You have to go behind the bomb shop and enter through the small hole to get it.
