So instead of thinking for ages why not ask someone who knows. Sure beats reading through walkthroughs at gamefaqs and the such like.
Anyway its a class game, looks and plays well and it surprised me in a lot of places.
Ok, I'm at the place where you blow up the rock to let the spring fill the area.
I have thrown a bomb into the first statue but can't seem to reach the second one. I presume you just have to aim right but I'm struggling.
Anyone?

Is it because he is cosmically linked with Hyrule?

Actually he gives a perfectly good reason for not going.
He doesn't escape with Link and Tetra/Zelda
But I think it's a massive conspiracy. The boat's been hired to take stupid elf boy around the world and beat evil and make it nice again ... then some aliens from anothe world are gonna come in and take over the place. They promises Mr. Boat a motor for it, and a nice wax on his hull and a tennis court on the deck.
