I was just pointing out that none of us are in a position to speculate why an engine 'fell off' a plane.

People panic and spread rumours, and before you know it, the entire world is believing something with no basis in fact.
If you think back to Sept 11th (so far unrelated to today apart from the fact that people have died, and my thoughts are with their families), we had a stupid rumour about Wingdings font prophecising things, Nostradamus predictions and all manner of things that cloud the issue.
Until we are in full posession of the facts, please remember that someone could be reading this and realise that someone they know was on that plane.
Let's just be careful about what we say and write eh?

There was an accident today. A lot of people died. I'm saddened by this, and can only hope that the familys can live on their lives.

I'll bet the Paddington railcrash was a terrorist operation too. Let's bomb them all.

The term was 'engine FAILURE' - that doesn't mean that an engine fell off - just that it failed. Could be from mechanical failure, or a bird flying into an engnie.
I believe the A300 only has 2 engines, so that would be a major problem, unlike on say a 747.

Yes, please don't argue, this is a serious matter. The fact is this: no-one knows why it happened, no-one knows if it was an accident or something more worrying, all we know is that it happened. Until we know for sure, no-one mention the word terrorists again.
