Hi there. Just need a bit of help from you guys. Am trying to make a bit of money from selling stuff. I got an idea of what I can sell at school to my friends, which is bouncy balls. Everyone loves bouncy balls and I looked on ebay and have found 500 for only 24 quid. Then I thought maybe water pistols I can take to school and make a bit of profit on.....but then found I wouldnt make enough for it to be worth the hassle. So if you guys have got any ideas of small, worthless, eye catching stuff then please list it on here.

Thanking you! =cD

I had a part time job before I was 16... I think most small employers won't ask your age, I guess the bigger ones (Supermarkets, etc) have their standard application procedure and won't hire young'uns, but I got a Summer job before I hit 16.

You can get a paper round at 14 anyway can't you? But that involves getting up early, so meh.

This brings back memories of school. If you ask me its not worth trying to sell stuff in school. As you have pointed out yourself, the teachers don't like it and its not worth the hassle just to make a couple of quid.

You're huge mistake here is also the fact that you think you can sell 500 bouncy balls. It quite likely that you'll sell about 10, there will be a short fad lasting a day and a half then everyone will move onto some other interesting thing and you'll be stuck with 490 bouncy balls and a debt of £22.

If you want money wait until you are 16 and get a part time job in a shop.

lol some great ideas. Pet bouncy ball made me laugh......If I sell bouncy balls at school at 20p each, then over the yuear I can make 100 quid. But the teachers are bound to find out and then I will get a** raped. Keep thinking..........

Or, you could always run a school protection racket. Charge small kids protection money, in exchange for you ensuring the other bullys don't mess with them. And if they switch to buying their protection from someone else... Well, there'll be hell to pay!

You dirty Capitalist you...

Can't you just find some junk you already own that you no longer want and Ebay it or advertise it in a local 'for sale' rag?

Would be less risky than hairbrain schemes involving 100s of balls and/or devices for squirting people with...
