Few people have realised this, they wonder what it might be.

Think about the number, it's 128, half of 128 is 64 yes?

THat makes Mario 128:

Mario 64 * 2

Just like Final Fantasy X 2, except it's been simplified, see what I'm getting at?

And if you don't, Mario 128 is sequel to Mario 64.

It's hapened too many times, but it's WAY too obvious.

The Gamecube has the same bit architecture as the rival systems...

That is the only specification I know.

By that time the Playstation 7 will rule supreme. It's fact.

No by that time the X-box would have worn Sony's lead down to a few units.

I think it's something to do with the number it can go up to in binary.
And 8 bits is one byte, or the other way round.

I could be wrong though.

8 bits in a byte.

1 bit = one binary digit.

1 byte = 1 word

128 bits = 16 bytes

16 bytes = 16 words.

Now I'm even more confused.

I know what a bit is, but not in consoles.

Is 8 bits = 3 binary digits (which give 8 combinations of 0s and 1s), or is it 8 binary digits (which give *2 to the power of 8* combinations)?

A bit is one binary digit.

So 10110010

WOuld be 8 bits.

This, is in fact a byte.

I had no idea what YOU were talking about.

If 1 bit is one binary character, in 'real' numbers it can be either 0 or 1.

3 binary characters can be from 0 to 8, which might have counted as 8 bit, in my not knowing either way world.

'Hello' is basically a five byte word.

'It' is a 16 bit word.

Am I going to have to include ELFINs™ into this conversation?
