I did exactly the same... Got rid of my Megadrive and Mega cd and then deeply regreted it. We have been reunited now with no hard feelings. I never get rid of anything now.
Hehe I never really like trading and selling consoles for money to buy another console or selling games and stuff like that (I dont need to sell my stuff to buy other things, I have loads of money it was an example).
