Anyone who's paid any attention to the Ninty side of E3 this year would have to be a fanboy to not agree that it's been a total non-event. An extreme lack of any really big announcements other than some complete cashin Pokemon games and some terrible GBA link-up things.
What's going on with Nintendo?
They say they've adopted a more aggressive approach an then they attend the biggest gaming show in the world and there wasn't a single thing on show that was really good that we hadn't seen before. Sony announce the Playstation portable, new Gran Turismo game, new MGS game, they announce a massive deal with EA for exclusive rights to the online sports line-up. Microsoft unveil Halo 2, Doom 3 amongst other things.
Where's all the amazing 1st party support from Nintendo?
Oh and to rub salt in the wounds, every single person at IGN says that Mario Kart is too slow.
Oh and delighted that the million selling Pokemon has landed.
Yet there were no new game announcements that made me think... wow now theres a AAA game in the making. The only AAA game I think was there is Mario Kart and perhaps F Zero...
I'm hoping Spaceworld will be worth the wait.

Grrrrrrrrrr..........
While the games are there, they aren't surprising.

Good :)
I expect some nice... large... announcements at Spaceworld.

Exactly what I've been saying...

I have plans to get Crystal Chronicles and as long as Pacman etc... are cheap... I'll pick them up too as the sound like damn good ideas.

I contest that... I thought it was okay.

I am annoyed at your attack on Geist. On the other hand I was merley referring to the fact that Spaceworld 2001 showed a Mario and Zelda video... do we remember anything else from it?

Advance wars 2, Mario and Luigi RPG, Pokemon pinball, Metroid zero...

But still complete and utter crap that no-one in their right mind would spend money on.

Starfox looked it has to be said, rubbish. I had high hopes for this game, I really hope that the graphics are toned down for multiplayer mode to keep it running smoothly, otherwise it's gonna be one of the ugliest games on a next-gen console.

A new Pilotwings and a new Mario game are hardly gonna make an amazing show. Some new franchises that don't look like 2nd rate 1st person shooters would be nice.

YEah amazing, Mario Brothers 3
Couldn't Nintendo have just released Mario Allstars in the first place?
From the vid I have it looks great.
Yup.
