"Nintendo's conference was like a retirement home for classic game developers as Toru Iwatani, the brains behind Pac-Man, played on-stage against Mario wunderkind, Shigeru Miyamoto, who is currently working on an all-new Pac-Man title.
Refreshingly self-critical, the assembled masses were told of the mistakes the big N made with marketing the GameCube, and the difficulty the traditionally family-orientated company was having in appealing to modern, gore-obsessed players.
But their president, Satoru Iwata, in a nod to the Grand Theft Auto series, assured Nintendo-philes: "You won't see Mario shoot a hooker".
And while we were assured the GameCube had a rosy future, its successor is already officially in development."
*chuckles*
For gaming, the Gamecube is the best console.
If you want a PC under your tv, get an XBox.
If you want a two year old heap of crap, that tries to play PC games. Buy a PS2.

No??
Cheers for the info, ordering now.
Last night, maybe 2am, I was going to bed after som revision. Suddenly it occured to me that it might be monday night (tues morning), meaning I had one day before my first exam. I won't say what I nearly did, but it was the first time I've felt panic about my exams. Luckily for me I found my phone, which confirmed that it was sunday night.

Not seen enough of him to know how much he recycled his material (potentially making it quite lame), but I've ordered it from Play anyway...
Thats why I didn't get it.
Mwhaha!
Or something.
Hadn't played it for a looooong time, then decided to play old games and have got back into it.
Over-hyped, yep. But I can still raise an obese, psychotic orangutan called Bruce Willis and teach it to hate.
