I personally think that the gamecube is better.
But I want to know if you prefer GAMECUBE or PLAYSTATION 2.
Tell me:
1)What console you prefer
2)Why you prefer it
3)What games you would like to see released on the console.
I prefer the gamecube because it produces 405 MHZ, 6 million-12 million polygons / second, the discs are 8cm diameter and you can play with other people around the world.
Do not say anything good about the Gamecube or X Box while Turbo is around he WILL prove you wrong. Even if you have no idea what he talking about he WILL prove you wrong.
Oh and Turbo to call him a stupid idiot, don't you think that's a bit harsh? It's just some of us don't look into these things as much as you.
PlayStation 2
2)Why you prefer it
It's sleek, it has loads of great games once you get into it, Sony have a fantastic attitude to Europeans and gamers in general, it has all my favourite developers 100% exclusive and lastly, it's the people's console!
3)What games you would like to see released on the console.
From rivals? Hmmm. Project Gotham, that's about it.
"I prefer the gamecube because it produces 405 MHZ, 6 million-12 million polygons / second, the discs are 8cm diameter and you can play with other people around the world."
I really can't tell you how much of that matters. Do you even know what it means?
"because it produces 405 MHZ, 6 million-12 million polygons / second"
That doesn't make good games, and it's nothing the PS2 or Xbox can't do! This sounds like you're just repeating specs like a dumb parrot.
"the discs are 8cm diameter"
This also means nothing. In fact, it's possibly a bad thing. They can push the proce of games up (again, because Nintendo have exclusivity on them), alienates some developers, again due to costs and could leave to disc-changing.
"and you can play with other people around the world."
Er, do you realise that you can do with the PS2 and Xbox BEFORE the GameCube? Jesus, I've met some really stupid idiots before but I think you just break the mould.
Heaven is a halfpipe? More like heaven is Toads Turnpike! (especially on revese mode, against 3 other mates, when you've just picked up a lightning bolt, or as a friend of mine calls them 'Pecker Powers', don't ask!)
Long live unrealistic racers, or racers where you don't race on roads. (like Waverace)

Zero or Mario Kart over GT3 anyday.
Who ever said

because if u ever played GT3 you would

I hardly think so, GT3 is not my sort of game at all. Too me GT3 is like the Microsft Train simulator for car anoraks.
I've never enjoyed realistic car racing games, it would be allright maybe if you could realisticaly crash them, but racing true to life cars round a track and that's about it, is not my kind of entertainment.
In fact no, the Mega Drive will be

TRUE
But in general I find
> unrealistic or realistic with a twist racers much more fun.
Totally agree with you, I would rather play F Zero or Mario Kart over GT3 anyday.
The GC may

There's a possibility of Tekken coming too Gamecube, and Soul Calibur 2 is looking rather nice. I reckon we will be seeing some sort of Killer Instinct sequel as well.

Nope, PS2 will have. {:)

Sorry Tilta, didn't mean to have a go at you. There is a reason *plugs new topic in Life forum*
