I had the test a few years ago, failed once and never got back into it.
While I was at uni everything was within walking or cheap taxi distance, so I didn't need to drive (I had a friend who used his car to travel between his home and uni, then only ever went near it to run the engine so it wouldn't seize up). The rest of the time it's lame busses and 'scabbing' lifts...
Hopefully this time I'll bag the test.

How do you cope with having to get off-time, pricey buses and taxis everywhere??
Or do you "scab" lifts off your mates? ;)

I'm now counting-down the days until I take my practical test and finally achieve the access to total-freedom; and I only have 30 days to go!
I'm quite confident I'll pass it first-time.
I 'know' I CAN do it well, but that doesn't mean to say I 'WILL' pass.
I've shown in my lessons that I have the skills to drive well, but I just need now to take my time and concentrate and show the examiner that, on the 25th September.
My mate has his first-thing tommorow morning - Good luck to him! :)
I haven't seen him drive, but I still reckon he'll pass.
He's one of those "slow" people who always seem to get A's, A's and more A's in their exams - just like he did with his AS's, recently.
Those people just don't make sense, though...!
And good luck to Cooky, too, with your interview (...if you haven't already had it).
There's probably a lot of money to be made in the gaming industry. And if this company can get licenses to James Bond for their games, you could well be "rolling in it" come 10-years-time! ;)

Do you ever find your sleep patern 'shifts' a bit? I think I'm made for 25 hour days, so when I don't have to get up at any time, I just keep slipping an hour back every day :^)

The good news is that I spent half the night working on my pet project web site (which I've been putting off for months). I think I just need to sort out my meta and title tags, then paste a bunch of stuff together, and work out how to get my pages to the web host.
Which is far less than what I had to do yesterday.

I think the key with melee is small doses.
I'm not normally a big beat-em-up fan (even ssbm didn't float my boat), but when it's all godzilla (and so tactical) it's excusable :^)
Might look at Soul Calibur 2. But it'll probably be at the end of a long shopping list.
