I'm downloading some video.

950 bytes/sec. :^(

Well, it's up to 1.3 KB/S now. Only going to take another 4 hours 2 minutes...

I need broadband.

Woah, guess what i grabbed for £9 today in Exeter?

Anyone?

Ok, i'll tell you.

SSX Tricky.

I know it was a bargain, the disc is mint, along with the case, however the manual had stains on it.
No, not those kinds of stains ,Mav. Tea stains, but they were ickle. Ive played about an hour on tricky, and my first impressions are that i was extremely lucky. The cube controller handles the requirements easily.

My instructor told me I needed 10 more lessons before my test, I booked two, went on holiday with the rest of the money and still passed :)

Don't believe everything they tell you.
After I passed my instructor couldn't wait to get me home and out of his car, I was obviouly past my use as I didn't need him any more.

Yeah, I was sceptical when my instructor started talking about me needing a bunch of extra lessons...

Still, with all the people I know who've crashed within a couple of months of passing their tests, I'm not worried about getting 'too much' practice in. And a harder test centre will only help make sure you're as safe as possible too.

Still, I absolutely hate the thought of him screwing me over like that :^(

I'm serious this time - something WILL happen either tommorow or Thursday.
The timing's just about right, now, for so-many reasons.
And I know how little time I have left before I may not see her again for months on end - I know I HAVE to do something NOW!

I'm feeling fired-up and ready to go! :)

And I've pretty much mastered both my '3-point turn' and 'reversing round a corner' manouveres, but I still, sometimes, have problems when it comes to 'reverse/parallel-parking'.

The 3-point turn is too simple for me, now.
But when it comes to the parking, I tend to worry too much about whether or not the back of my car is lined-up with the end of the other one. I sometimes worry I'm going to hit it as I reverse past it...
And when I take a look-around, I sometimes shoot past the 2-turns-out point and give myself a few problems.
But whenever I've pulled too-wide around a corner, I've always managed to impress my instructor and bring it back in nice and neatly.

Really, I just need to be more aware of the things ahead of me - especially with all the Zebra Crossings and Roundabouts that lie within my likely test-route.

...God knows why he's making me do it at the toughest of the 4 centres in my area, when everyone else seems to do theirs in the easiest! :S

If you ask me - and this is something I would never say to my instructor - it's just an easy way for them to "milk" money out of us, since it'll take any learner a good-number of learning hours before they really get the hag of driving around there. But at least it will be good for me in the long-run, going back-and-forth through the city-centre for college, next month! :)
