Either your spelling mistakes are done on purpose to wind people up or you are a really, really, really bad speller. People often spell the odd word wrong or have a typing error but there's a mistake in every other word.

Just bought ISS 64 for £1.49 on eBay, bargain. The guy was giving it away, he had it on buy it now for £1.49, I couldn't not buy it, and the P&P is only £1.50, not like the £3 some people try to rip you off with.
I also got WCW/nWo Revenge for £2.20.

Oh well.

It sounds like a break from driving might do you some good. Sometimes you do something too much and the repetition makes your head kind of fuzzy.

I'd prescribe a month off without driving or thinking about driving lessons/tests at all.

Then after that month, book a test and gradually get back into some lessons.

Sometimes you have to take a step back to move forwards.

I woke-up this morning with a very good feeling around me...

The sun was shining, I felt awake, ready to take on the challenge ahead (for the 4th time, now)... Aside from the odd dark-cloud trying to creep its way into my sunshine, everything was set-up nicely for `The End´ of this everlong-running 14-month "Getting my Driving License" saga. 'Surely', I thought, 'even they cannot dampen my day'...

But, they did. And, for the fourth time within the space of 7 months now (£160 later...), I am left depressed, deflated, dis-hartened, P'd-off.... Everything I felt for each-one of the last-three times I failed is back again - just when I thought that feeling could well be gone, for good!

This time, however, things aren't quite as bad. I still think I'm wrongly holding a lot of it all in, but, again (like with my very-first test), I can see Why I deserved to fail.

Different examiner; similar result. This guy seemed alright, but he was also the "old-skool" kind that wouldn't let anything go (he weren't young, either). He knew what he was doing. He did a good job.
...Unlike that cow, last time, who wrongly failed me for the other driver's faults (but, we won't be going into all that again, will we)!

Now that I look at it, this is my worst test result yet.
Now, surely, you're supposed to get better after 4? :S

2 Serious faults; 16 Minors... It hardly makes for the pleasant reading when you compare it with the better scores from the harder test-centre! Much-worse than my first, "headless chicken" effort, anyone would agree (if only they could see)!

One for not realising a Green Light; one for not giving-way to a pedestrian already on the amber-lit crossing - fair-enough!
For the number of times I didn't check my mirrors FIRST and for all the "silly little things" I also go wrong; I would've failed anyway!

This guy even told me "the potential's certainly there - don't give up" after EXPLAINING to me why I'd failed... Again, unlike that ungrateful money-grabbing lard-bucket! Guess I'm just gonna have to sit on 2-month the waiting list, YET AGAIN!! :(

I think that's always the worst thing, though - the waiting. If only I could get a cancellation; something within 2-weeks of failing... Then, I'd still feel ready to go "up-and-at-THEM" again. But instead, I have to add the ever-stressfull pain of waiting to my misery.

Passing a happy young girl (who'd obviously passed) on my way home didn't help me either. Neither will it when someone asks, 'When's your next test?'

:(

Oh well, at least I got some good stuff in the post this morning.
There was my second-hand (£12.99) Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 from Gamestation, a new Screwfix Catalogue for me to waste more money on and The Matrix Revolutions on DVD [CD-WOW!] - but, damn, I just found out earlier how much that one sucks! I still think the original's the best.

Bah. Just noticed, on the Gameaday home-page that I've an unclaimed Gameaday Prize to choose from the 12th of last month - how did I miss that?! :P

Harvest Moon, come to me!! ;)

I'm sure I still only had 27 wins when I came on only the other day...
Perhaps somebody else cheated, then? :o

Anyway. Thank you, SR guys! :D
At least you lot can do good things for me.... :P

*Sob*

No job interview for me.

The bloke left a message while I was off playing pool, for me to call him back. Today he told me that most of the people from last year were re-applying and that I only had a realistic shot at a couple of days a week, filling in.
Which wasn't enough, so I'm not going to the interview.

Wow, "Mandy Moose shares her 'I can't believe I wore that'" moments.

And so soon after doing the photo shoot :^D

Dr Duck's Weekend

I've been to my first national level pool competition. It ran thursday to sunday, and included maybe 15 to 20 'pros' (not many of them actually make a full living from the game).
It was 5 or 6 hours drive away, and I was at the bottom end of the ability range. Mind you, I went from playing like a numpty and still retaining a bit of respectability to playing at my best, and being genuinely competetive with excellent players.

If I can cut out the stupid mistakes, improve my consistancy and then just work on developing my all-round game I might be able to give some of these guys a real run for their (or my :^S ) money.
Actually that looks like quite a tough list. Oh well, I'm still young...

Got to see half an hour of the United - Arsenal game between pool matches. Arsenal going down like cheap 'hos to try to cheat free kicks, while looking to beat Ronaldo into unconsciousness like a baby seal, while United went into tackle after tackle late and recklessly. And the ref wasn't calling any of it.
The United win was nice (I'm a 'sympathiser'), shame they couldn't quite manage it in either premiership match this season.

Oh, and Millwall in Europe? As if English football fans don't have a bad enough reputation...
Just hope they don't draw Galatasary :^S
Note to Tphi: That wasn't meant to be sarcastic or rhetorical :^p

Maybe I should go to bed now.
