:)
Meaning, you're not at Uni right now because you quite a couple of years ago, but you want to start all-over-again, right?
Bloody hell, you must be rollin' in it!! ;D :P
Seriously though, if you do decided to become a Lawyer, just make sure you don't end up like Fletcher Reede; lying and breaking people's hearts at every possible given chance... ;)
"The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!"
Then again, that is an American thing... :)

Heh. Been there too. I hope you have more luck than I did :^)
Job interview tomorrow, for a 3 month thing as a legal secretary. It wouldn't carry me through until I start at uni again in september, but it'd give me the experience everyone demands to get more semi-legal work, and it might help me decide whether to go be a lawyer. Maybe...
:p
Firstly, and, most-importantly, I could soon have myself a driving test cancellation for only 13 days time - if, of course, my scheming plan goes as I hope it does! You see, my mate's sister (who's a year-or-two younger than me) had orginaly booked a test for this date, originaly thinking it was actually two-days-later [but, that's women, eh! ;D ]. And so, it turns out neither her or her instructor are able to do this test, on this date at this time. So, in short, unless something odd and very frustrating happens (like, NOW), she'll be cancelling her appointment within the next week-or-so. :)
We've all talked about this, and now, it all needs is her to finaly agree to cancelling it, and for me to (hopefuly) time everything dead-right from my end. If you could just phone-up and edit the details of an existing test, the candidate and instructor, it would be so much easier... Instead, it seems I'll have to play this like one of those "Lucky-Number Callers" you hear about on the radio; phoning-in to be a certain numbered caller, to get a certain amount of money (or, some kind of prize).
And, after being awoken again by the care-free driving shock of my last test, a Full Driving License would be one heck of a reward to me, if only I can get that Cancellation... :)
More good news comes on the work-front. Just completed a busy Bank Holiday weekend where we were on DOUBLE-Time for the whole three-days (excluding Sunday, of course). It took some talking-to, but we finally got our boss to agree to paying us the the same kind of "over-time" (although, still at a lower rate) to all those lazy sodds and odds that work in the shop and office.
The reason we were only going to get time-and-a-half before? Well, according to our boss (and manager) we - the ones who slave all day serving customer directly, loading vehicles, helping with orders and stuff... - apparently, "have nothing to do with Sales", like the rest.
All I can really say is: 'I'm glad I'm leaving this year!' I really don't understand how these people think; why they think like they do, and yes, it really has got some of my colleagues going, with talks of some kind of Strike-action going if he turns down our plea to get some of the 20%, end-of-month `Sales Bonus´ everyone else gets.
I mean, we really are as much to do with Sales just as much as anyone else. Sure, we don't handle money or anything (legally... ;) ), but, if it wasn't for us, they wouldn't BE any "Sales"! :@
Yeah, not going tooo badly for me at the moment though. Things are looking up again. I'm even forgetting about Kelly, too...
Instead, though, I'm realising my passed-chances at Love with 2 other girls from the past 5 years-or-so of school... - one, of which, I might even try to gain contact with again once I've passed my test (although, if I remember correctly, she could be up studying drama-stuff in Liverpool, by now)

Game - Peterbourgh

However, I do not know what. I tend to think of it as an accumilation of things (because, I feel, many, many things have gone very-wrong for me within the past 12-months alone) - and, that seems, to me, to be some kind of common "Human Error". We always think that, when, really, the answer is never quite that simple.
I think I need to figure out what it is, first...
Why I cannot pass a stupid driving test when I flew threw my Theory with almost no-problems, last May...
I haven't got another test booked-up yet, though, either. My instructor has told me to "just go for a Cancellation", but, the lines don't seem to be open again until Tuesday. Ah, well.
I haven't really been "with it" for the last week, either. I keep forgetting things at work, making mistakes and doing things I shouldn't be, after 2 years in job. My Concentration was barely there at all on Wednesday. I felt too relaxed and comfortable with the way I was progressing during the test. I wasn't taking it serious enough. And, at the end of the day, I feel even worse for it.
It's strange it has come at such a time, though. The weather's getting better, I seem to be enjoying things more and my Social life's even seen a bit more action in it recently, too (however, I don't blame my test-failure on the Heiniken I had the night before!).
