As much as I'd like him to, I really doubt he has any connection with the black moon. The Silvite Elders knew nothing of this civilistion, there were no records in the Valuan Empire. If there was a sixth civilisation, we're talking thousands of years ago, well before the original rains of destruction.

If Ramirez has some link it would be a safe bet that Galcian at least would know as well, and if they did surely they would have exploited it.

Occam's Razor would point to the answer being no, there is no evidence to suggest there was a civilisation, a moon stone suggests the extinction of a black moon, but there's nothing for a civilisation. Therefore one does not exist.

I just don't think it's plausable at all. Ramirez was a Silvite and used the power of the silver moon, and the almighty silver Gigas. His sword was the Light Blade, which again harnessed light and was so sharp it could cut through it. You could argue that because it could cut light it was opposed to light, and therefore dark, but the fact it was crafted by the Silvites and is called the Light Blade suggests otherwise.

It's far more likely the 'dark' part simply refers to the fact that he is evil, and evil is associated with darkness. Also Zelos, the Silvites and therefore the silver moon were the cause of the rains of destruction, and therefore could be reffered to as 'dark' as they were the cause of the most evil act.

Have you tried the # key? That used to work on my old american keyboard. But then again, the computer was half way English :^s

(Oh, and Americans call # a pound sign, so you will sort of have one, even if it doesn't work..)

If you want a gba, surely it has to make sense to pick one up for £55 ?

Hmm. It's a bit of a long-winded theory. Given that there *is* an actual dark moon, and any other colour would appear dark without light!

If we're going with whoever's law it is, that the simplest answer is usually right, I'd say he probably has some kind of link to the dark moon.

Next time I play I'll make sure to keep an eye (or ear) out for precisely what he does say.
I might start playing again when my current temping job ends later this week.
Although if I do I won't get any job hunting done :^)

The confused ramblings of a boy in Florida surrounded by cheap DVD's & Games

Woot.

Bought Pac-Man vs. and Pac-Man World 2 today in a bundle game for $20 (11 pounds - this American keyboard doesn't have a pound sign :S) today. Will be having a look around for anything else keep, and might pick up Animal Crossing/ Harvest Moon on the cheap.

Also considering buying an SP, which are around 55 pounds over here, along with a NES re-release game. Not sure which colour to get though, Flame Red or Cobalt Blue, as both look equally great. May also pick up a spice gamecube controller because it's such a great colour, as well as blue controller S for my Xbox.

And as well as all this, I'm searcing for an iPod. Can't wait to get that, should be fantastic :D

Hmm.. I know at one point he does say "Sword of the Dark Moon".. but I think that's just a reference to his lightness/darkness thing - without light, silver appears dark and there is no light or goodness in his soul so for him, silver is darkness. It's a theory.

I m dissapionted about the lack of MMORPG'S on the cube! or any online games 4 that matter, theres only one!! Phantasy star online is good but it costs at least £100 to get online!! if ninty dont get online soon the cube could fade aswel as nintendo!!!

I hope the Ds is online but its not the same as a console online. look at the Xbox: its cheap is fun and almost every game is online with Xbox live!! and the PS2 is also online with many games and more to come! Ninty is losing money and customers because its not online and looks like its made 4 kids!

This is not fair on Nintendo but if they dont go online it may happen. I personaly would love to play many cube games online but have to stick with my Xbox and Ps2 games to go online with! Rainbow six on the cube is only half the game without online! and so is THUG! this is y i think nintendo is losing customers! i still love ninty but soon there will be nothing left to love!

For Silver Eclipse he says "Where there is light, there is darkness" Silver Tundra (is that right?) he just says "Die". And I'm pretty certain he doesn't say anything for Destruction or Silver Nightmare.

Also the fact they are 'Silver X' indicates the use of the silver moon ;-)

If you listen to his silver eclipse speech, you'll hear him say he's drawing on the power of the 'dark moon'. I forget the exact wording..

So long as he had a black moon crystal to align with his weapons I figure it should be plausable.
Plus, the sylvites, as the most advanced of the 6 known civilisations, could certainly have had some links with a black moon civilisation which are as yet unrevealed...

A prequel could be great though - at the time of the big war, fighting for one side or trying to stabilise the whole thing.
You could even select the civilisation you start the game with, with different plot progressions for each...

Maybe it could end with you succeeding, only for the great rains to begin, and all you can do is make a final desperate voyage to find safetly?

Or a MMORPG (I think that's the ackronym) in the (pre rains) skies world - you could form a crew (clan), take on other people, massive sky battles with hundreds of ships fighting for each continent...

Dammit, I want someone to make this game! :^D
