Both of you, next time you talk to 'her', just ask her straight out:
'Are you single?'

You'll find out the answer, and you'll strongly suggest an interest in her (plant the idea in her head), without facing proper rejection.

Edit to add:

In fact, I want both of you to promise me, in a post in this thread, that next time you have a onversation with her, you'll ask if she's single.

And report back when you find out.

Hey, even if she's not, at least you'll know :^)

Well ask her on Monday what she did over the weekend, if she spent some time with her boyfriend. She'll probably say then "Oh, no, I don't have one" or "Oh yeh twas great fun we did thirty positions all in one night."

You get what I mean.

Similar to my situation. I know a girl at college, we speak to each other every-now and then, and have the odd laugh about various things. Lately tho' she's been casting her eyes in my direction much more than usual. Normally I catch her looking across a crowd or the common room at me, and as I look back towards her, she seems to turn away. My problem is the same, there's the possibility that she already has a boyfriend, yet there's no way I can explain her behaviour...

It seems I have a rival at work!

No, I am not the only one with an interest in young Kelly, so it seems. Someone I briefly know from school (other half of my year), who's been working here for a few months, has a secret he's finding hard to keep covered.

I very much doubt it's quite in the same way I feel for her, but it's a threat to my chances all the same. I sort of know him through someone else, and he is alright. We've started getting on quite well at work ...Even if he is the kind of "alright, MATE", takes his shirt off at the first sign of sunlight nearly-Townie type-person.... :)

And, I think she's 'enjoying' it. He hasn't told her, but says "she knows...". He happens to be working, and gets on very well, with Kelly's big-mouthed attention-seeking ex, who just can't help but keep his mouth shut or nose out when her name is mentioned or voice heard. This seems to help keep him quiet though, if only for 10 minutes. ;)
(She certainly knows how to get inside his head.)

When I first realised this, I was a little concered...
But now, after realising he's off to Uni soon and that she came and talked [spoke?] to me earlier, I see my position as being less threatened.

All the smiles are still there, as are the awkward beginnings to conversations I can barely make to last 10 seconds - but, I still don't know if she's with her boyfriend....

Heck, I know her full and middle name now - yet, I still couldn't say if she is seeing someone or not. :S

To begin with, I'm just giving it a 3D face lift. Eventually I'm going to try and make it fully 3D with my own levels. But that can wait for now.

Chucky Egg ?

You'd better not break it, or I'll be up there specially... :^P

I have no idea how Chucky Egg 3D would work. Is it just 3D graphics or is there an element to the gameplay too ?

That Play.com shop they've opened in town is pretty good. Managed to get one of the few Van Damme films on DVD that I didn't have for only £1.99 But this came in a pack of 4 films, 2 films per disk. So the film I needed was Black Eagle, and I got another copy of Kickboxer (classic), Fist of Fury 2 (never seen), and Jackie Chan's Master with Cracked Fingers (which I have on vid, but now DVD!).

Bargain!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
