The graphics aren't up to much, though they're never ugly (except in the bits where you're flying the ship). Ususally hate turn based combat but I gotta say this is quite fun, the special moves look bad-ass...well at least the one i've seen does.
So far so good, I can see it getting more involving the further in you play. So ummmm yeah, good game so far, I shall go and play some more in a bit.
One thing that made me laugh was playing hide and seek with the tard kids, for some reason they have the strange idea that if they stand behind a washing line with their legs clearly showing, then people can't see them.
In terms of hide and seek techniques, Zelda's kids win the first round :D

Nope, they get a lot better.
It starts off ugly but gets a lot better.
Don't hesitate when thinking about buying this game, it really is the nuts. I've never really properly sat down and played an RPG before because they haven't really intrested me, but Skies is superb.
This is gonna sound stupid but it reminds me a lot of when I was playing Conkers Bad Fur Day. Not because it's the same kind of game but because on Conker you covered so much ground and did so many different things in a short space of time, it's the same with Skies. It gives it a really epic feel if that makes any sense.
I suggest you buy it.
Once I've found the remaining Triforce-shards, and beaten Ganondorf, I'll be buying this game.
I
wasn't expecting much from the graphics, but are they really that bad?
I though they would've at least improved them slightly for the GameCube...?
The music has been badly compressed for Legends, most noticeably at the start, it sounds awful and tinny.
Superb game, graphics are actually really nice. Seems to me that the game starts out pretty ugly but gradually gets a lot more pleasing on the eyes.
The Dreamcast version is amazing, and I hope the GameCube version has the same high standards of quality.
Just a quickie for I cannot wait until tomorrow to find out - is it still on two discs?
