The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

I've enjoyed 7 to 10 only , but that's because I've only played those games. I'll probably hate 11 for its lack of storyline and the single objective based format (another words, fightning monsters day in day out.)

Its strange really...

I seem to prefer FF 5,7,9 but I disliked 6,8,10
That probably means that I'll like 11 (if it ever gets here)
Anyone else have the same pattern?
I still think that 7 has the best storyline out of all of them though, but the Chocographs in FF9 rocked!

Thankyou, I will try that. But I must say that I have tried to escape before and it says cannot escape, but other than that, I'm a pretty good gamer so I'll try work something out.

...nuff said.

They are quite easy to kill. Even if your characters are pretty poor like mine always are.
Basically, kill the two colours consecutively to eliminate them, i.e. Kill red then red. Run from other aliens, any other fights will make you have to go back and start again.

They aren't doing. They're making two spin-offs from FFX called FFX: Another Lord. One involving Rikku and one involving Yuna.

I hope they don't have voice acting in FFXII because it means the game has to be more linear in order to save space and stuff. I prefer less linear games like FFVIII. It also means more time in translation so we get it after everyone else. We got FFX five/six months after the US and a year after Japan.

Oh, and FFXI is coming out on PC as well, so you won't have to buy all the extra crap for the PS2 if you don't want to. That is, if it comes out here at all.

Hey everyone. I need some help. I still havn't completed FF8 and I just started playing it again yesterday and I'm stuck. I'm at the place where Squall and Rinoa have to face eight monsters alone. Ragnarak, I think it's called. Y'know where there are two yellow monsters, two red, two purple and so on. Well basically I need some tips on finding 1 yellow after another so they don't come back to life and other monsters don't get in my way. Some tips on beating the purple ones would be great too!

Go in Peace

They'd have to get a storyline where Kuja, Necron, Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Seymour and all the rest all had the same evil desires. or plot them all against each other AND you.

I really should try and find a Squaresoft e-mail address.. :-)
