The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

That easy to build your stats you mean? As in, raise your luck levels by activating spheres in reality? That`d be quite cool. Trouble is, you`d have to risk fighting the Earth Eater and stuff over and over again. You never know when the stupid fool might get lucky and knock you out. :D

I haven't played Final Fantasy in such a long time. In fact, I hardly ever play games anymore. I play an endurance race on GT3 every Friday but that's about it for the week.

Yeah, if only it was that easy in real life.

I`m currently building up my stats in order to beat the Magus Sisters... but its possible without top stats. I did it just to see if it could be done, but didn`t save it. I did the old Yojimbo trick. I went into battle with them, with first strike for Auron, swapped him for Yuna, and summoned Yojimbo. He gets a go before the Sisters, so I paid him all 7.5 million that I owned, and he decked them :D Didn`t save it though as that would really not be good for my funds.

My advice though - avoid them until you`ve spend a good 30 hours in the monster arena :D

Deltajava - You asked about the "maths guide". Its a uni related thing. I`m at Bath uni, and each semester we take 5 units in maths. The maths guide is a list of all the units I`ve done, or am doing, and has a very quick little comment next to it, which is semi-relevant, but slightly taking the mick :D

You need top level stats. Like, all sphereboard for every character and item top level stats...

I would help, but I too have the same problem - I can't get a turn in before my characters are wholly whupped (whatever that means).

I think you need to build up your speed attributes, or have a monster HP value.

Thought I'd let you all know that I finally completed FFX. After doing a bit of levelling up and getting a couple of the ultimate weapons, the final boss was pathetically easy.

Anyway, as I returned to Mi'hen Road, I came across these 3 fiends who completely whooped me. They attacked me for 99,999 and did an overdrive called a 'delta attack' which attacked my whole party for several lots of 99,999. Who are they?... I don't know cos they have all their turns before me and kill me off, so i've never even had a chance to have one attack and find out their names. Also, if they keep having all their attacks before me (thereby killing me), how do I stand a chance? (I can't summon aeons, auto-life, etc...)

I love FF9.

I find FF9 to fairy tale ish.FF8 is really inspiring in places yet so careless in others.FF7 is the best game ever created.FFX is the missing piece in the puzzle.....why....
