I know you have to keep on using the opposing element to change it but it hasn't got a life bar, how do you kill it? or can't you kill it at all?

I`m not sure it all went ahead in the end, but didn`t Sony buy a large portion of Square when Square were in financial difficulty? That would certainly make it less likely that FF games would appear elsewhere.

Is the final fantasy series going to the nintendo? that would not be good we want it on the PS2 and then the PS3!
The GameCube game isn't what you'd call a "proper" Final Fantasy game, but more action styled. You also need the GC and GBA to play it, which bites bum. FFXII onwards are still on PS2.
