The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

Although you always use cheats on the Resident Evil games (is that a stain I see on your trousers? :P), you sure know your FF stuff, I'll give you that.

I'm three bosses away from completing the game (Braska's Final Aeon). I just got the 10 items to get to the boss and I got half way through killing BFA and the PS2 froze. I hate collecting this items - I always get hit by bloody icicles, which starts a fight with a boss which poisons...and poisons...and poisons until you die. Thanks for telling me to cast reflect though Ben :D

The game's too bloody short. Almost cleared it in a pitiful 16 hours. FF 7, 8 and 9 took me about that just to get onto disc 2...

Should be twice as long as it was in my opinion, but the storyline did drag on somewhat.

Blitzball is a gr8 game but y is it so slow it should be like a football game easy to move a a single button to shoot, pass and tackle.

Evera (spelt something like that) is not a hard boss just move back the ship when he gets ready to use his venom breath but move back quickly or he will use photon powder or something like that. Another tip if you keep the ship back it fires missiles at Evera :D hope you like my little tip.

A question which FF is more reality and which is completely unbeliveable?

The Jecht Shot is gained by doing it correctly when Tidus is on board the boat before the Blitzball tournament. After listening to Lulu and Wakka talk, you go to the front deck and try to perform the shot. If ya get it right, bingo. I think you can get it again later, but I haven`t tried.

As for attack reels, if you have them, you`ll know. When you get Wakka's overdrive, take a look to see if he has just elemental reels or both attack reels and elemental reels.

I probably have Attack reels somewhere. Although i can't play bliztball at the moment as it is blanked out.

For some reason i haven't got the Jecht shot. But the Sphere shot always does the trick for me anyway.

Hmmm... perhaps it is lucky then that FFXI will be an online game where you go round fighting other people... Is this a major coincidence or what?

I like ff7 too but it is to out of date and with the most rubbish grapics.

Hi.

Make sure you play plenty of Blitzball to get the best attacks for Wakka, once you have the attack reels, your chaces of success are greatly enhanced. Also, make sure you`ve got the Jecht Shot from back on the boat early in the game, it makes you virtually unbeatable when playing blitzball.

Best thing to do though throughout the game is to just take it slowly. Look around for all the little bits and pieces, and allow yourself to get into plenty of random fights. You`ll get stronger and better equipped for doing this, and will find every boss that little bit easier. If you keep this up, and then spend time in the Omega Ruins, and the Monster Arena, then you`ll have no trouble beating Sin this time round. Have you fought Braska's Final Aeon yet though? This is very easy if you`ve put the time in, but if you are unable to beat Sin with your current character stats, then the final aeon could cause lots of problems.

I've started over after missing tonnes out the first time round and not being able to kill sin. I'm trying to get everything this time. Its a good job I have a week off work.
