Never tried it myself, never felt the need to. I would only look in to it if you've got the time. From what I gather, Linux comes in many different flavours (or that might be Unix, and Linux is one of those flavours!?!).

At the very least, don't put your banners in a folder called 'banners', dead give-away :)

I think text ads are the safest bet - quick to load and harder to block.

My dogs are nicer :)

It's an african word meaning "too stupid to configure Debian".

Glad I could help :)

I'm not really one for using third-party downloads, as I prefer to do custom stuff, but haven't really got anything to offer you I'm afraid. Sorry.

I did put up a basic banner rotation script a few weeks ago, but that might not be what you're after.

I'd like to give Linux a try, but I have a fear of penguins =(

Very true. I need to find out how they block these ads. It's pretty ridiculous though. I'll only be able to run my site through ads. If people are blocking the ads. Then how am I going to run my site for them =S

I'll likely try my best to keep the ads from being blocked and come up with some incentives to not block the ads. =)

That's more of a snap shot, unless the photo looks interesting =) Here are some good dog photos.

blimey it works like a treat :S I'm not use to having things work without a problem. Does this mean I'm a genius Garin? :O

Although it does what I want, I wouldnt mind having something a little bit more advanced so I might try this one. Unless someone else has any better ones they could recommend? cjh?

By heck, here we go again :)

Machie:
"What the hell is a Ubuntu?".

I think Ubuntu is a version of Linux, which is an operating system.

Machie:
"... the big money earner. The banner rotation script. =)".

I'd keep an eye on web browser 'ad blocking' features, and make sure that your banners aren't blocked by them if possible, otherwise your big money earner might not earn as much as you'd like :)

Machie:
"I'm also getting use to doing art photography and travel photography.".

What's art and travel photography compared to say, me taking a photo of my dog?

Okay it's going quite well. This is the one I'm using. Still playing around with it. I hope it can handle lots of groups and banners.

List of things to find out
1. What the hell is a Ubuntu?
