I still have yours, I just checked. I could add you to my MSN, but you'd probably give it out to other people and I'd have to explain the reasoning behind my 4 year old e-mail address.

I didn't go to mine either. Waste of money and I would have been the only sober one there because I don't drink.

Read an interesting book by David Brin (I think) called Kil'n People, it's about a future where people make disposable clones that last a day by imprinting their "soulwave" into an organic-clay body. Quite nice, sort of a detective novel that changes viewpoint as it switches between the main character and his clones.

Also read a book by Jeff Noon called Nymphomation, it's sort of cyberpunk, but not really. I liked it, my dad hated it when he tried to read it and couldn't get past the first two chapters. It's not easy reading, but I found it enjoyable.

Other than that, I've been reading random books picked from the shelves in my dads collection. Most of it's stuff from the 60's and 70's, really sexist and really simple gung-ho, blast-the-baddies, "we can do no wrong if we follow the american dream" crap. Trashy to the extreme, but enjoyable in its way.

And Herc - I'll let you know, I still have your number somewhere if needs be...

BEARDS, read any GOOD sci fi novels recently? I have run out of books after reading those terrible halo novels and am after summat that keeps me turning pages rather than ripping them out.
