what do people think of x-boxes chances

I feel the X-box will do well, its a very powerful machine. To be honest, i dont know the exact specs as i have not really cared to look at it are them. However, i have seen with my eyes what the console can do, and it impressed me very much. The graphics are good and im sure there will be some class titles.

A number of things about it though that concern me. Microsoft have always been accosiated with the PC, so does that mean that the majority of the games will be 1st person shooters and strategy games. Im sure that main user base will be PC users, and they may expect these types of games.

Another thing, is if the public see Microsoft in a bad light, does the games developers see the same thing. I dont want to buy a console with no games being made for it.

The fact is though, i wont be getting one, if there was another console i was going to buy, it would be GC.

Im sure it will do well though.

but the ps2 has games that are £44 and it used to be 299 so thats not a good point to make mate

£299 for the console + £44.99 per game = 0 customers

i wouldn't be surprised if the x-box keeps crashing every other day and you need to keep installing everything again and download loads of patches lol
but seriously i doubt it'll do much all it's got of any note gamewise is munch's oddesey and DOA3 not exactly the most tempting game catalogue all 2 of them

I dont know - I reckon it could do well - But at the moment there isnt much that tempts me towards getting one!!
There again with the sort of money Microsoft are spending on marketing alone how could it possibly fail??
