Ah. I find they are real 'hit or miss' games. A lot are simply too arcadey for me. Monkey Ball is good, but only for multi. I always liked Mario over Sonic. Played a bit of the Shenmue demo, looks quite good.

Here's what I've done:
Started the first level and switched to Glide Wing.
Held down the A button for 45 minutes and completed the first two episodes.
Go bored, considered watching tennis.
On a different note, I beat my first Area Ranker on Phantom Crash last night, yey!
