In actual fact it is me being stupid but I am not bothering to watch what I say on a chat forum.

I use the 'gay' word as a general way of showing that I don't like something.

HOWEVER, if I wanted to offend someone about their sexuality (assuming I knew they would take offence), I'd call them homo-sexual, and be done with it.
