"Half-Life 2"

I can't believe that no one here is talking about this game, am i the only one who can't wait till september when the game is released?

The Source engine sounds bloody brilliant, and I need I say looks amazing. I can't wait to see what the graphics of the game are really capable of, and it'll be great to see what modders do with it.

It was quite good on quieter games, if you took the time to learn it.

Yea i know what you mean.

I quite liked Team Fortress just for the insanity of it all. Counter-Strike however, was a totally different ball game. I didn't enjoy it at all just because everyone else seemed to have played it for 50 years longer than me which meant as soon as I spawned I was shot....then spawned and shot....then spawned etc etc. No good.

I mean team Fortress.

Ugh i tried that a couple of times and got bored o_O

TF2 has been 'just around the corner' ever since HL was released.
I would be very suprised (and delighted) if it did make that 30/9 deadline.

Xbox version been delayed to April? Dang. My PC aint up to scratch either.

Team Fortress 2 is being developed separately from Half-Life 2. Infact, its due for release quite soon (30/09 according to SR).

I'm excited about Half-Life 2 no doubt. I've seen screenshots and they look amazing especially shots where the characters of Half-Life and Half-Life 2 are compared (Half-Life 2 characters look far better). The worst thing is, my PC would never be able to run the game and it doesn't come out on the Xbox until April next year! Plus the Xbox game costs an extra £20 over the PC version price!!
