Lighting just struck 30 feet or so from my house!

It was seriously right there!

Loudest noise ever!

I was in town yesterday, when a mahoosive storm came out of nowhere. My friend saw two lightning forks, and I missed both. Then it went really quiet, so we assumed it had passed. I was so pisched that I didn't see them, when the biggest bloody lightning fork streaked across the sky! It was huge!

Another time lightning blew up a Cats eye just in front of us when we were coming back from holiday, that was worrying.


But storms rule.

DC, a remember in a film where there's a storm outside and the phone starts ringing. When the guy answers it, a lightning bolt shot down the line and his brain exploded!

If the phone rings....DON'T ANSWER IT!

WHAT THE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just finished hearing an explosion from my kitchen to see that my stupid grandma put on the stove yet she turned the wrong nob and now lid thing on top of the stove crap she turned on was meled through and my grandma walked to the kitchen and threw it on the floor creating the boom noise!

Is someone out to scare the crap out of me! Why all the misfortune!

I am quite sure you didn't have a swat team outside your house unless you are American. YOu may have had an armed response unit or a Riot unit, but not a heavily armed elite teactical unit...
