I woke up nervous today

One of my old teachers got struck by lightning. He had been sheltering under a tree on a golf course. Possibly the worst thing you can do in a storm. Ever.

Crazy Col if it's true what you are typing then I think there must be something wrong with you I think. The cat's head exploded. In a film that would have been alright as it did not happen so, in the end there is no harm done but we are talking about something that happened to a living animal, a family pet no less.

We had lighten here the other day but it wasn't much to right home about. One bit of thunder was rather loud but that was about it. I take it that fork lightening 30ft away from the house is a rather scary experiance(sp). I think that a car is really one of the safest places to be because of the rubber wheel or something like that.

Just imagine it though, apparently it's eyes started bleeding first, HA HA, it wiuld be amazing to see. Sure not at first, but if you looked back on it, you would pisch yourself. Hell even my mate, who owned the cat, laughed at it when I started laughing.

My house is surrounded by HUGE trees (I'm talking 20 feet higher than the biggest houses in my street) so, hopefully, lightning would hit them. It's a balance between the lightning wanting to hit the closest (highest) thing, and being attracted to metal. I'm hoping it goes for the higher option...

Another time lightning blew up a Cats eye just in front of us when we were coming back from holiday, that was worrying.

I'm seriously hoping it was a walking cat but I know it was a cats eye on the road.
