*How can this be true? It is four times more powerful, broadband internet connection, superior sound, much, much better graphics!! The games are also gonna be better!!!! Why???? Because the X-Box has over 150 developers making games for it! Also X-Box is getting most of the games Playstation 2 is getting, plus more!!! So how in any way can PS2 be better?*

X-box will be rubbish, primarily because it is made by Microsoft, who don't even haven the faintest idea about games consoles. Even their PC games are still not up to console standard, and they've been doing PC games for - about 12 years!.
PLUS, who wants a games console that crashes every five minutes, and then you probably find that every game you buy will require you to 'upgrade' the console in some form or another.
I just can't wait to see the X-Box being sold off at £50 after the first few months, because Microsoft have realised what a fool they were to create a device that flopped so spectacularly.

The N64 was being developed before the SNES was launched and Mario64 took 6 years to make a fine tune.. The PS2 was around for years before the PS1, the innards were based on the engines used by Sony Pictures that created graphics like the ones seen in Godzilla!!

The PS2's doesn't contain a Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS hardware decoder. Yes the PS2 can do these, but, as it has such an impact on the processor because it is the emotion engine which operates these, it will never be implemented during gameplay, according to Dolby anyway.
The Xbox on the other hand has a hardware Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS controller, so the CPU is not encoding/decoding signals. This means that games for the Xbox will be able to produce these full digital surround sound environments during games. Games such as the Bouncer and Final Fantasy X have Dolby 5.1 FMV sequences, but do not have Dolby 5,1 in game.
As for sound quality, both the PS2 and Xbox are capable of producing DVD Audio quality, whatever the frequncy and bit rate of those are, but the Xbox hardware will be able to play more sounds simultaneously than the PS2. So in terms of quality, you wont be able to notice a difference really, because unless you have a massive sound system, the difference will not show.

Actually Wookie Monster! MIcrosft haev said that sound will be much better than PS2 adn Gc! Because you dont need to buy add ons or other things!! The sound has been inhanced with over 65 channels!! Trust me X-Box sound will be much clearer more precise adn more sounds will be released than anything PS2 could do!

More games is questionable, better graphics is obvious because the machine has two years of further graphics development to call on, and better sound is also questionable. Not only does PS2 support Dolby Digital 5.1 and Digital Theatre Surround, but the human ear can only distinguish so many sounds at once - so you wouldn't notice much difference anyway!
