*How can this be true? It is four times more powerful, broadband internet connection, superior sound, much, much better graphics!! The games are also gonna be better!!!! Why???? Because the X-Box has over 150 developers making games for it! Also X-Box is getting most of the games Playstation 2 is getting, plus more!!! So how in any way can PS2 be better?*

Well I was playing Final Fantasy 10 earlier on PS2 and that was quite sweet! But I also played Dead OR Alive 3 on X-Box today and that looked pretty damm sweet also!

Well said ===SONICRAV--->. I dont think PS2 is better than X-Box and I dont think X-Box is better than PS2. I own a PS2 and have a X-Box on pre-order. Each console has there own share of good games. I like the games out and that are coming out on both the X-Box and PS2, so I will own both. I also like the look of the GC games so will get one of those in the summer.
X-Box is going to be amazing but non of the 3 consoles(X-Box, PS2, GC) is the best one. It all depends on which games you like and want to play.

Anyone who says "Xbox is better than PS2" is equally stupid.
A true gamer would realise that BOTH console have great games and both have some great exclusives. And games are ALL that matter- not the polygons per second, or the power of the console- just the games.
I can't believe people are posting such ridiculous replies to this topic!
Oh, and I HIGHLY suggest you go to the "Xbox crashed" topic, go back a few pages, and find a HUGE post by "NiGHTS!" that explains that the Xbox crashed once at E3, whereas every single Sony game crashed at Sony's own in house show... which is far more devistating to the company, but most gamers don't even know it happened because games mags didn't publish details about it!
Not that that matters... the end products of both manufacturers were both 100% fine (well, obv some consoles had faults, but this is normal).

The XBox will be one of the faster computer consoels in history and as it said a while abck you may never have to buy a nother console.
but saying that who wants to buy an XBOX any way i wanted one ages ago then got my self a PS2 i could sit here and read off a big list of games but i wont i will give you 10 ready?
