Considering the purchase of a DVD player when noticed the price drop of the PS2. SR have a good deal with their PS2 Fire Pack at £229 but what else would I need for good quality DVD playback? The official remote perhaps? A better scart connector? DVD Region X whatever this is for?
Being new to this PS stuff any advice greatfully received

If you want to play DVD's then you should get a PS2 as Gaycube doesn't even play DVD's and for x-box u need 2 buy a addition drive 2 play dvd's

I think most people here agree its worth going for a PS2, but then again, this is a PS2 forum so it may be a little biased...
