Yes it is shorter and unlike OOT it wasn't delayed to have it totally finished. BUT as a game it has improved as we'd expect, better graphics, better frame rate, better battle system etc... and the scripting and detail is superb. When you knock the clubs out of the skeletons hands they pluck their own arms out of their sockets and use that...
that my friend is progression.

But a huge improvement in others... a next gen Zelda it is.
Anyway WW was good but as most have already said it's a bit of a let down in areas but it's still probably one of the if not the best game on the Cube so far.

Wind Wakers music fitted the music theme perfectly.
has anyone noticed that most of the music (well too much of the music) is acutally remixed versions of old ones or basically the same. If WW tried to branch off into a new direction of approach. Then it is all fine including some old ones and hav ing remixes but IMO there was one to many of them.. : /
Although MQ is more challenging, the dungeons don't "make sense" the way they used to. You can tell they've just been changed around a bit for the challenge, which is ok, because it's mainly for Zelda "die hards" anyway.
Anyways, wasn't the whole point of Master Quest that there was a further ending where you can get the Triforce?
I'll see once I complete it. Midway through the Spirit Temple so far...
